Magnum FLX® combines patented Spring Cushion Technology with proprietory solid-core ring magnets, allowing to retrieve that last µl without bending tips! Spring Cushion Technology allows the microplate to give way when tips come in contact with a well bottom, thus compensating for physical tolerances between labware and pipettors that can compromise precision aspiration.

 

The Magnum™ EX Universal Magnet Plate contains 96 strong ring-shaped Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) magnets, unique corner brackets and an elevated platform

 

 

 

This is the original “SPRIPlate” designed for use with the Beckman/Agencourt SPRI® magnetic bead chemistry. It  A reliable workhorse, it is used in a wide variety of magnetic bead protocols and found in top genome centers and laboratories all over the world. The ''S'' is indicative of a super magnet variant, whereas ''R'' is indicative of the ring-shaped magnets pull magnetic beads to the well perimeter which allows for maximum aspiration of supernatants, wash solutions, and eluates. 

 

The 96M Magnum™ Plate contains our strongest ring magnets (N50). Use this powerful magnet plate to perform your most challenging separations close to 40% faster. The Magnum Plate is also suitable for use with viscous samples like blood or serum.

 

Employs strong ring magnets with unique slotted architecture for quality manual magnetic bead separation.  Compatible with most 96-well microplates and PCR strip tubes. This plate does not employ the Spring Cushion technology unique to other plates due to common-use in manual operations; however, it can be utilized for automated workflows too.
