Magnum™ EX (2nd Generation)

The Magnum™ EX (2nd Generation) Universal Magnet Plate is designed for high-efficiency magnetic bead separation in 96-well plate workflows. Suitable for both manual and automated applications, the Magnum™ EX supports PCR, shallow, half-deep, and deep well plates with U- or V-bottoms, regardless of skirt style.   Equipped with strong N50-grade ring magnets, the plate achieves up to 2x faster separation than standard magnet plates. Its solid aluminum construction enables temperature-controlled workflows up to 80°C. The redesigned PAQLOC® Spring Lock allows quick switching between benchtop and robotic use, enhancing flexibility without tool adjustments. Integrated Spring Cushion Technology protects pipette tips and instruments while improving aspirate consistency.   Eight removable corner tabs prevent interference with robotic plate grippers and can be easily replaced if damaged.
