Polymer and Running Buffer for Capillary Electrophoresis

Intended use

NimaPOP™ comprises a range of polymers, a separation matrix for performing Sanger Sequencing and Fragment Analysis of DNA using Capillary Electrophoresis (CE), combined with NimaPOP™ 10x concentrated running buffers.


NimaPOP™ polymers and running buffers are widely adopted as proven, high-quality reagents for laboratories running 310, 3100, 3130, 3500 and 3730 Series Genetic Analyzers and SeqStudio™ Flex.


NimaPOP™-4, -6, and -7 polymers are proven alternatives to Thermo Fisher POP™-4, POP™-6, and POP™-7 polymers.

For optimal results

NimaPOP™-4 polymer provides fast run times and is often used for human identification in forensic applications, and fragment analysis. NimaPOP™-6 polymer is ideal for long runs and reading bases very close to the 5′ end.

NimaPOP™-7 is the most versatile polymer, designed for a wide range of applications.


NimaPOP™ polymers have an excellent dynamic coating and separating ability for all applications, and can be used without any change in run protocols, conditions, or spectral calibrations. NimaPOP™ polymers and running buffers are offered in a variety of convenient packagings:  pouches, vials and bottles. For 3500 Series Genetic Analyzers, pouches and buffer come RFID-labeled, compatible with all Data Collection Software versions.
