Description
The Magnum FLX® (2nd Generation) Enhanced Universal Magnet Plate is designed for rapid, high-volume magnetic bead separation in 96-well plate workflows. Featuring patented Solid-Core™ ring magnets, the Magnum FLX enables separation speeds up to 4.5x faster than standard plates, even with viscous samples or volumes up to 2 mL.
Compatible with PCR and deep well plates, the Magnum FLX supports full-, semi-, and non-skirted 96-well formats, including shallow, half-deep, and deep plates with U- or V-bottoms. Elution volumes as low as 10 µl help conserve sample concentration.
This second-generation model includes removable corner tabs for robotic access and a solid aluminum base to support temperature-controlled workflows up to 80°C. The improved PAQLOC® Spring Lock allows fast switching between bench and automated workflows. Spring Cushion Technology ensures consistent pipetting while protecting tips and instruments.
The SBS footprint and elevated design make it compatible with most liquid handlers, offering an ideal solution for labs requiring speed, volume flexibility, and automation readiness in bead-based protocols.
