NimaPOP™ for 3730 Series Genetic Analyzers

NimaPOP™-7 is the most versatile polymer, designed for DNA sequencing and Fragment Analysis on 3730 and 3730xl Genetic Analyzers. NimaPOP™-7 Polymer is a proven alternative to POP™-7 Polymer and can be used without any change in run protocols, conditions or spectral calibrations. NimaPOP™-7 performs well together with sequencing reaction samples using BrilliantDye™ or BigDye™ chemistries.

NimaPOP™-4, 6 and 7 Polymers for 3130 Series Genetic Analyzers come in 5 mL or 10 mL bottles. Effective 2022, Thermo Fisher Scientific has discontinued both reagents and service for 3130/3130xl Genetic Analyzers. NimaGen will continue to provide laboratories operating 3130 Series with NimaPOP™ Polymer, the already widely used alternative to POP™ Polymers, which can be used without any change in run protocols, conditions, or spectral calibrations.

NimaPOP™ for 3500 Series/SeqStudio™ Flex

NimaPOP™-4, 6 and 7 Polymers for 3500 Series and SeqStudio™ Flex Genetic Analyzers come in RFID-labeled pouches for 384 or 960 samples, compatible with all Data Collection Software versions. NimaPOP™ Polymers for 3500 and SeqStudio™ Flex are widely used alternatives to POP™ Polymers and can be used without any change in run protocols, conditions, or spectral calibrations.

NimaPrime™ Conditioning Reagent

NimaPrime™ Conditioning Reagent is used to prime the polymer pump of Genetic Anayzers, as well as wash the polymer pump and channels when switching between polymer types or performing routine maintenance. The RFID labeled pouche is compatible with all Data Analysis Software versions of 3500 Series and SeqStudio™ Flex. NimaPrime™ Conditioning Reagent is a drop-in replacement for Applied Biosystems™ Conditioning Reagent, for 3500/SeqStudio™ Flex.

NimaPOP™ 10x Running Buffer for 3130 and 3730

NimaPOP™ 10x Running Buffer with EDTA is used for capillary electrophoresis on 3130, 3500/SeqStudio Flex and 3730 Series Genetic Analyzers and is optimized for use with NimaPOP™ Polymers. NimaPOP™ 10x Running Buffer can be used without any requirement for changes in protocol, conditions or spectral calibrations.

NimaPOP™ 10x Running Buffer 3500/SeqStudio™

NimaPOP™ 10x Running Buffer with EDTA for capillary electrophoresis on 3500 Series/SeqStudio™ Flex is conveniently offered in a 60 mL bottle, for 4 refills. Buffer comes with 4x Anode Buffer (ABC) and 4x CBC (Cathode Buffer) self-adhesive RFID chips, that can be placed on the original Genetic Analyzer buffer containers. NimaPOP™ 10x Running Buffer is optimized for use with NimaPOP™ Polymers and can be used without any requirement for changes in protocol, conditions or spectral calibrations.

ReCAP™ Capillary Regeneration Kit for 3130 and 3730 Series

Capillary array as a carrier for polymers (e.g. POP™ and NimaPOP™ separation media) is critical for peak separation in Sanger sequencing and fragment analysis. At the end of the array life, the array will not generate well-separated peaks.


The ReCAP™ Capillary Array Regeneration Kit is used to perform a complete rejuvenation and revitalization of old and failing capillary arrays of 3130 and 3730 Series Genetic Analyzers.

For particularly those arrays that start to lose resolution, or show smears or tails in the electropherogram. Additionally, it cleans the pump blocks of the machine, preventing or eliminating yellow or red haze.

 

Regeneration extends the lifespan of the array, maintaining optimal performance, avoiding the cost of unnecessary early array replacement. ReCAP™ requires no disassembling or reassembling of the array. There is no need for spectral and spatial calibration after array cleaning. A ReCAP™ Capillary Array Regeneration Kit comprises four click-in bottles compatible with 3130 or 3730 Series Genetic Analyzers.
