The IDseek® Mitochondrial DNA HVR Sequencing by MPS Kit is a Reverse Complement (RC-PCR) based library preparation solution for analyzing the hypervariable regions in very low quantities of (highly degraded) nuclear mtDNA in complex samples that do not provide a full STR profile. The kit enables multiplex targeted amplification, sequencing indexing, and adaptor addition in a single closed-tube reaction.   The IDseek® Mitochondrial DNA HVR Kit is optimized for use with Illumina® MiSeq™ systems, utilizing 2x 10 bp Unique Dual Index reads.
